The Communities of Practice (CoP) self-assessment tool supports networks to measure their maturity and monitor their performance to track growth.
There are 4 components to the tool including:
an overview of the 5 domains of leadership – community, professional practice, professional knowledge, professional ethics and endorses and enabled – and the associated 18 sub-domains
an online survey that can be used annually
guidance for professional that provides tips and advice on how to improve a network’s rating against the domains
documents that can be used to facilitate discussion within a network to collect evidence.
