Professional learning and audience

The Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership’s (Academy) specialised and targeted professional learning empowers and equips Victorian teachers and school leaders to have lasting, significant and positive impacts on students, schools and the system.

Teaching Excellence Program

The Teaching Excellence Program is open to highly skilled teachers from Victorian Catholic, government and Independent schools. 

Leadership programs

Each sector – government, Catholic and Independent – has responsibility for delivering leadership professional learning for their own schools. However, the Academy does not exclude non-government school participants from expressing interest in our leadership professional learning.

Fees

Non-government school participants are not eligible for subsidies and will be subject to a full fee enrolment.

How to express interest

If you are from a non-government school and are interested in participating in Academy leadership professional learning, please email academy@education.vic.gov.au with: 

• the name of the course
• your full name
• your school 
• school sector 
• your phone number. 

If the leadership professional learning you are interested in is suitable for non-government participants, we will share the details provided with the relevant sector body to get agreement for enrolment before contacting you with an outcome.
