Academy Geelong centre launched

The Academy's Geelong centre officially opened on Thursday 2 March 2023. 

This was a fantastic milestone, with Natalie Hutchins MP officially opening the centre. It was a privilege to have Wadawurrung woman Corrina Eccles from the Wadawurrung Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation perform a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony.  

This is the first of 7 regional centres that will be opened this year ensuring that all teachers and school leaders across Victoria can access high-quality professional learning.  

An investment in our fantastic teaching workforce is an investment in our students and future, and we are delighted to officially be a part of this thriving city and contribute to the Geelong community. 

The state-of-the-art facilities offer world-class professional learning opportunities in teaching and leadership excellence.
