Government Schools Principals Conference

Each year we host a conference to bring together Government school principals and assistant principals from across Victoria.

The 2025 Government Schools Principals Conference is on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 June 2025 in Melbourne. We are pleased to confirm the conference will return to a 2-day format and assistant principals are invited to attend. The conference will provide evidence-informed professional learning for principals, including our inspiring keynotes, stimulating workshops, and networking opportunities.

2024 conference

The 2024 conference, held on Monday 29 July, was an inspiring and successful day with over 2,700 school and system leaders from across Victoria attending.

The conference was an excellent opportunity to:

• hear from renowned educators about collaborative leadership
• participate in innovative workshops
• learn, reflect, and network with other principals and assistant principals.
